Mobile Internet Setup and Use
If you use only phone (smart phone):

Then name this profile as the core profile in adjusting communication of a relevant program (Internet browser, postal client, ICQ-client etc) or select it in a dialogue window when the connection is being set.
If you use a mobile terminal connected to PC or CPC:
Switch on your mobile phone to PC or CPC using the cable (USB or RS232), infrared, Bluetooth-connection or through PCMCIA slot.
Install on PC a relevant driver of the model of your terminal (see the driver on the site of a phone maker or on CD you got together with the terminal).
Check if the modem is in service.
In the additional parameters of the modem, state the following initialization paragraph:
AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","www.mts.com.ua" (for Windows 9х-XP), +CGDCONT=1,"IP","www.mts.com.ua" (for Windows CE) or AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","www.mts.com.ua" (for Linux).
AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","www.mts.com.ua" (for Windows 9х-XP), +CGDCONT=1,"IP","www.mts.com.ua" (for Windows CE) or AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","www.mts.com.ua" (for Linux).
Attention! For phones Ericsson and Sony Ericsson the unit in the initialization paragraph needs to be changed to the index of the parameter of the relevant phone profile.
Create a new Dial-Up connection in PC or CPC, with the following parameters of service use:Login | Leave it empty |
